“My American Dream Takes Flight

I’ve always believed in the line that says, “If you can dream it, then you can achieve it.” And so, this so-called “dream” is my longing to immigrate in the USA. Similarly, back to where it all started, this dream could be traced in the year 2002, where I had my first visit and glimpse of “the land of the free and home of the brave”; not to mention, gaining inspiration from family members/ friends who are working in the medical field in the US, too. Moreover, my passion to care and nurture people, including my family, pushed me to do best in my career and aspire to practice my nursing profession in the USA. And, thankfully, Health Carousel team and Passport USA made that dream happen.

My American dream was one that took a long winding journey. It took me 8 years to finally realize it, but then there were no regrets, but a lot of lessons and insights learned along the way. Part of that dream were hurdles that I have to jump over and get done with, too. And, gratefully, I made it with the team and, of course, along with it are my deep ardent prayers. It is true indeed that, “God always has a perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and it takes a lot of faith, but it’s all worth the wait.”

And so again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude, first to God, the Almighty Father in Heaven and all His angels and His saints, the Blessed Mother for their divine interventions and all my answered prayers. Next, I would like to thank sincerely the genuine help and holistic service by the Health Carousel Team, specially to my headhunters— Miss Kimberly Bancolita, Miss Liza Mae Graza, Miss Je- Ann Peralta, Miss Valerie Santos, Miss Nyra Colinares, Miss Glenda Cantalejo, Miss Roda Cardoso, Miss Cherryl Arcon and Miss Meghan Kane. A million thanks to you all and the team. Thank you for recapturing my priority date, for catering to my professional needs and for accommodating patiently with my in-depth questions. I could not thank you enough. Your support and service are impeccable and second to none.

I appreciate the kindness, the warm and tender treatment towards all your applicants and for not limiting your assistance professionally, but also holistically, including provision of resources in nailing the job interviews. You will always be part of my success. I would also like to thank my family and friends who have confidence in me. I am not who I am now, if it weren’t for them and their all-out support.

Once again, to the Health Carousel and Passport USA team, a big hug and thanks to you, because at long last, the long wait is finally over. I’m grateful I have found you in the newspaper ad. You helped me achieve my dream and made it a reality, and for that, we deserve two thumbs up to all our efforts, too. Consequently, what a wonderful journey it has been with you.

Indeed, my American Dream has taken its flight; and, looking forward to share more of the happy and successful stories of me in the USA.”
