“Being a non-native speaker and one who does not talk in English most of the time, aiming for the required IELTS band score is tough. I did not get a speaking band score of 7 on my first take. I thought I did well that time, so I even had it remarked. Unfortunately, IELTS Enquiry on Results revealed an unchanged score. I was disheartened that it took me two years to take the exam again.

August 2019, I took a leap of faith. Prior to that, I attended IELTS boot camp organised by HCPI that gave me techniques on how to reach the needed band score. I also enrolled at 9.0 Niner IELTS Review Center for review. In addition, I had speaking simulation sessions with Ms. Czarina weeks before the exam. As a result, I finally succeeded and passed the IELTS! Practice and prayers are the essentials in achieving the target band score in IELTS.” – Jessica
