Health Carousel was recommended by my friend, Angeline because she personally knew one of their applicants that were deployed through their agency. We went to HC office in 2014 and signed the offer after discussion as we already have NCLEX, IELTS and Visascreen (they will reimburse the expenses). My PD was issued in February 2015. HC PAs were really good at following up with me the needed requirements; my case was a challenge for the reason that I am working overseas within the course of my visa application. Most of our transactions were through emails and calls. It was hard to get the documents from the Philippines at my end as delays were inevitable due to distance and Embassy interview place changes but we managed to pass those hurdles and complete it. They have given me updates about the Visa Bulletin every month. Even my interview process was different as I had it in New Zealand. I am grateful to Ms. Je Ann, Ms. Roda, Ms.Maricris, Ms. Valerie, Ms. Cherryl, Mr. Efraim, Mr. Mark, Ms. Connie and Ms. Kimberly for responding to my queries, processing my license renewal and guiding me throughout the process. It has been 10 years since I took my NCLEX and decided that I want to practice nursing in USA. The application was tedious and lengthy but worth the wait for I am flying to US tomorrow. To my fellow nurses with American Dreams, it is possible if you focus on your goal and work hard for it. Hone your nursing skills, accumulate experience and keep your endurance. You may feel stuck or stagnant at some point but giving up is definitely not the option. Cheers.
